April Germany's largest UNIX magazine iX publishes an April fools article about running Linux on the Nintendo 64. Initially promotion for the Linux/MIPS project and just good fun the article results in inquiries about Linux for N64 for several years.
announces H1 and H2. The two processors are supposed to become successors of the R12000.
Silicon Graphics cancels the H1 and H2 projects again.
